Our research group focuses on using molecular methods to address research questions in the fields of conservation genetics and molecular ecology. We work directly with natural resource managers to address research questions and conduct genetics monitoring for wildlife conservation and management. We seek to support and foster diversity and inclusion in scientific research and education. We are committed to capacity building in conservation genetics in developing countries and hosting graduate students and other professionals for training in our laboratory.
